Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Assist on inspections, assist with report writing, assist with document reviews, attend training sessions including CPD, attend Next-Gen events aimed at promoting collaboration between members of the grad scheme and placement program.
I would say that the experience has been very hands on and has allowed an understanding of what to expect from a full-time position in the same role. The placement has provided a solid foundation for career progression.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was given an appropriate amount of responsibility during my placement. I was able to lead instructions on my own, however I never felt out of my depth due to the support on offer.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture is great and the office is a pleasant environment. There are plenty of opportunities for socialising, whether with the team or the wider company. A high number of social events occur throughout the year, whether its quarterly reviews, team socials or sporting events.
