Role was generally being attached to someone working on a project and them delegating small simple tasks I could do to help them.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Everyone was very nice and welcoming, though they were not really set up for dealing with interns, it felt like I was a bit of a third spare wheel a lot of the time

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
It was okay, I just was expecting a bit more of a structured and intense experience. There were very large periods where I basically had nothing to do and really had to eek out simple tasks, there was also a lot of waiting for software access as nothing had been sorted before I arrived.

Yes
What advice would you give to others applying to Arup
Not sure, I would probably suggest they get good at competency based scenarios related to their role and talking through common systems they might encounter.
Always good to prepare answers to questions like "talk about a time when you had to deal with disagreement as a group etc"
