Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Assisting the rail team where i attend meetings, write up reports, Technical drawings, Markups, attend workshops and site visits.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes given full rain of what i could do as well as my own initiative to time manage well and manage multiple jobs at once. given deadlines as well as good instructions

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Developed excisting skills on report writing, excel and other softwares. Learnt new software and put my learning from university into practical form. Gained confidence by attending site visits learning about site safety as well as practical work. Attending meetings taught me the background of what goes into projects

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Did work for multiple people who were sat with me at all times and were able to answer any questions i may have had. real written up instructions which helped alot. I recieved guidance and responsibility and trust to provide work

Very social office lots of events and office activities. Inclusive and spacious office. Flexible working hours and very understanding people
