Independent experiment planning and execution, accompanied by data analysis and reporting.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Once training was completed and the basics of the project were established, I held majority of the responsibility for project progression.

I developed my technical skills of critical analysis, and improved my knowledge base regarding analytical techniques/research areas like mass spectrometry.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
A very healthy amount of guidance was received, there were scheduled weekly check-ins with my line manager, and weekly/bi-weekly catch-ups with my wider team. And regular conversations with other team members in addition.
