Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Developing and engineering policies and threat models for product security team. Also automating tasks internally for the team.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I have been put on a couple projects that I have lead which is a great thing. However I had to do the initial work to get to that stage

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Strong member focused:NBS has a high commitment to putting members first which I love.
Supportive colleagues: Teams are friendly and collaborative. Everyone is Positive
Negatives:
Lack of social events for Tech teams. Sometimes feel isolated.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed it very much as the main highlight was not only developing soft and hard skills but also meeting loads of new types of people within the company. Having 100+ employees within early careers is such a positive impact and motivates me to come to office.
