Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role was that of a data analyst I was responsible for looking at internal and external pipelines that employees would use to be able to do their jobs and customers that would apply for products that nationwide offered, in my day to day role it would be a mix of providing insight on these pipelines for the business by using SQL and running complex queries to see where the business could improve to make our internal systems more efficient and our customers experience much smoother and then loading them into power bi to build out detailed high level reports that could then be presented to teams to see how they could improve.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes I had the chance to take on 3 crucial projects that provided insight into our customer behaviour in the mortgage area of the organisation, I was able to lead the project working closely with stakeholders and other analysts to problem solve and delegate tasks to be completed this enabled me to develop as a professional massively and has increased my confidence in the work place it also gave me that challenge and the desire to learn new things to get the job done.
