Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Corporate Assistant. Working within an Audit team, Performing testing on more basic Financial statement accounts items, such as cash, PPE, payroll, debtors, creditors, equity.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
yes loads, whilst working in varying team sizes, i was also given large amounts of responsibility, solely communicating with client executives, being solely accountable for specific financial statement item testing.

yes, drastically developed my excel skills and developed soft skills such as best forms of communication. Also learnt a significant amount about accounting, audit, and asset management clients
