Establishing analytical methods and supporting chemists in verifying and monitoring reactions
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was supported for the first couple of months by my supervisor but over the course of the following months I was given more independent work with some opportunity to interact with people external to the company.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
We were provided with standard training over the first two months followed by more specialised training depending on our roles. The environment was pretty chill so if we had any questions or doubts it was never intimidating to ask someone about it. Everyone was very supportive and helpful.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very social, loads of opportunity to network. People are always willing to help and there's a lot of encouragement to bring new, innovative scientific ideas to the table.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I mostly enjoyed it, I met some great people here that I've learnt a lot from. I do wish I was given more learning opportunities and I think I had more to offer during my time here.
