Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I assist with research tasks, reviewing case law and drafting internal notes to support the team. I also help with updating documents, sitting in on meetings, and occasionally contribute to client-facing communications or materials. The role has given me exposure to a variety of legal areas and practical insight into how the teams operate on a daily basis.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was trusted with a significant level of responsibility throughout my internship, which included independent research tasks, contributing to ongoing projects, and supporting the team with client-related work. This not only challenged me but also helped build my confidence and practical legal skills.

Throughout my internship, I was given a great deal of support, from regular check-ins and constructive feedback to approachable mentors who were always happy to answer questions. This made the experience highly rewarding and really helped me grow.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I really enjoyed my internship. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn, take on meaningful work, and connect with some brilliant people. The experience has definitely confirmed that there is no better place to pursue a training contract.
