Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We basically got to experience the life of a trainee, completing tasks similar to what you would do during a traineeship. Every day was different with a large variety of tasks. The days also depended on what team you were sitting with as the work differs greatly. Tasks included research on particular areas of law, sitting in on client calls and taking minutes, reviewing contracts, exporting data into a digestible format for clients etc
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Yeah really useful to get an insight to the going-ons of a global law firm. Also got exposure to the role you will (hopefully) be doing in the future, as well as further progressed roles too (associate etc).

I've learnt loads of new skills. Specifically my research skills, my attention to detail and my ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment. I've also massively improved my confidence by speaking to people from all areas of the firm and learning from them.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture was really positive, everyone was super friendly and made time for us interns. I genuinely felt like people wanted me to do well and see me succeed.
