Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role follows a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days from home. At the
beginning of each week, I export the weekly supplier forecast from PowerBI to Excel by
8:30 AM, manage inventory using Blue Yonder, and place orders via SAP Ariba if stock is
low, spending about 2 hours on this daily. For my RPP role, I check the RPP Complexity
Assessment tool weekly for requests and escalate as needed.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I was able to lead a project team of operations, HSE and waste management to successful packaging waste reduction, optimizing sustainability efforts by decreasing wood and plastic waste from single use to repair and reuse strategy and increasing recycling initiatives, directly impacting the sustainability performance index.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
At the start of my placement, the student handing over to me spent about a month with me, this made my start easier.
I have weekly one to one session with my line manager to support ongoing project.
I have colleagues we triage ideas and generate business solutions together.
