General day to day aiding the internal finance procedures, whilst mainly taking responsibility of controlling and managing the client account.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills. Namely; control accounting, ledger adjustments, year end reconciliation, month end preparation, professional attitude, increased confidence.

Very well organised with many help materials available.

Lots of support both physically (allowing me to study during work hours), and financially (providing support for exam fees etc).
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots of support available, from frequent meeting with my tutor, to endless access to revision materials online.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It provides me with an increased degree of confidence as i am becoming more proficient and efficient at my job, and motivates me with the idea of light at the end of the tunnel when i am fully qualified.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Both a summer and christmas party with the whole team. Whilst smaller social events monthly in my direct office, with a strict "no work chat outside work" rule.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Madison Brook?
Be yourself, no one cares what you may or may not know, but whether you can get along with people you are going to be spending 9 hours a day with, 5 days a week.
