Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Draft Accounts Preparations for Limited Companies, Draft Tax Computations for Limited Companies, Draft VAT Returns, Complete Bookkeeping tasks, Draft Personal Tax Returns. Lots of other general day to day accounting tasks.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoyed my apprenticeship, and enjoyed studying lots of different topics, which massively increased my knowledge in the field of accounting & tax.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learnt lots of new skills, and developed other skills & knowledge that I had prior to starting my apprenticeship.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme was extremely well structured, with us being given days out of work (often one day per week, for a set number of weeks), to go and study, and then also given time off for us to sit our exams.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer was extremely supportive throughout the duration of my apprenticeship, always ensuring that they did as much as they could to support me throughout.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider was excellent throughout, and all resources that they provided throughout were amazing, always containing all relevant information, and always were able to simplify the most complex topics, to make them easier to understand.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My knowledge has developed massively compared to where I was at prior to my apprenticeship, and this means that my work is now being carried out at a higher level, and is going to be at a better quality than before.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Affinia offers lots of extra-curricular activities, including sports events, charity events & general networking events. (Lots more too!)
