Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is very diverse and I complete many tasks such as estimating customers enquiries and then quoting them and converting that to an order. It also involves me taking on doing reports for management and issuing paperwork to the correct people whilst also regularly helping with any tasks at hand from a colleagues request.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my apprenticeship as it has taught me a lot about the workplace and what I can do to better myself and my career. It is a great environment for me and my career development, great colleagues make this even better.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have grown my skills with excel incredibly and learnt much about proper format to use etcetera. I have also developed to having a great standard of customer service. I have grown my teamworking ability very well.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Lionweld Kennedy Group Is very organised and has a concise structure that clearly paints out who should be doing what. Giving everyone involved a clear idea of what their responsibility is.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a great amount of support from my employer and they have never fretted to offer extra help and support when it is needed. They monitor apprentices very well and make sure that progress is being made comfortably.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I recieve a great amount of support from my employer to help me work towards my qualification by them offering to help me understand the world of business better and how they things are conducted.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification helps me with my role as I learn more about business administration it helps me get a better understanding of what each persons responsibility is and how important it is to work efficiently. I greatly learn new things everytime from my training provider to help me complete work in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are plenty of extra-curricular activities with my workplace such as the christmas party, family fun day, the gallon walk, whitby wander and it greatly enhances the relationship with colleagues and how well we work together. Lionweld also attends professional awads events for example we had won the tees business of the year 2024.
