I find the programme informative and have implemented many things learnt into Lionweld.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I was a fabricator on the shopfloor before applying for the health and safety position, so I have a good idea of how the company works and have since learnt many new skills and improved my knowledge on relevant law and legislation.

Structure and Support

The programme is very well organised and all tasks assigned come with a deadline, which help me personally.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lionweld is always there to support and guide me through any problems/issues I have, ensuring my development comes first.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification will hopefully help educate the workforce on the correct working practices and relevant legislation to ensure the safety all personnel.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have many social activities available throughout the year at Lionweld, such as:
Bowling, family fun days, charity committee, charity walks and Christmas party.

I started at Lionweld as a fabricator and now I’m working towards my Level 3 in Health and Safety. Lionweld has supported me every step of the way, offering many training opportunities. The company values employee growth and provides plenty of chances to develop and advance within the business.
