Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role is to look after vulnerable adults, promote independence and assist with tasks they are unable to carry out. For example, providing personal care, ensuring medication is taken, preparing meals, helping with house told tasks and conversing with service users ensuring they have everything they require.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy learning new skills and completing NVQs allows me to broaden my horizons. Once my NVQ level 4 is complete, I will be looking for a higher role in a management position.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I completed the NVQ level 3 in adult care last year and I complete refreshener training every month provided by my employer, this training involves manual handling, medication, pressure sores and many more.

I feel it is very well structured, I don’t feel pressured or over worked as I am given a work load that fits around my work and home life and have meetings with my assessor every month.

I receive a lot of support from my employer. My manager attends my meetings and provides any documentation I need to help towards my assignments and gives me an outlook from a management perspective.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I have regular meetings with my assessor and she is always available to answer any questions I have if I am struggling with a particular topic. They give me research material every month to help with assignments.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I am very motivated to complete the qualification as I definitely want to progress in my career and hoping to have a higher role in the near future.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
