Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

- Responding to emails.
- Inputting data such as invoices, and meter readings onto spreadsheets, as well as the accounting system.
- Processing personal/ sensitive information and ensuring information is accurate.
- Drafting/ collating letters/ notifying clients of important information.
- Organisation/ improving processes and procedures.
- Answering phone calls.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The company that I completed my apprenticeship with were very helpful and supportive, and I really enjoy it here. However, the College that I was with did not offer the support that I was looking for. For example, there are no online lessons and the knowledge that you gain is from their pre-made PowerPoints and your own research. In my experience, my manager really stepped up and helped me with the majority of my learning, which should not have been the case.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

In my experience, I think the programme had a structure but my first tutor was unable to keep to this process. For example, sometimes I did not meet with her for almost 8 weeks since the last time we had seen each other, when I was supposed to have a meeting/ discussion every 4 weeks.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer, and she is always thinking of new ways to develop my skills and knowledge.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The college does not provided online lessons.
The information they provide you is pre-made PowerPoints.
The majority of my learning was from my own research and asking my manager for support, which she did.
It also depends on the tutor that you have. My first tutor was unorganised and barely communicated with me and almost cost me my qualification. However, my second tutor was really helpful and gave me more support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am also more aware of external factors that impact the business.
