My role on a day ti day basis is to build and construct carpentry work to a excellent standard, making sure attention to detail is always the main priority

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I love what i do and look forward to the opportunitys that will come in the future for me when i qualify

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt loads. Every i know now is down to my mentors which have taught me over my apprenticeship. They have helped me to develop into a skilled tradesman

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My mentors and my boss have been very organised throughout my apprenticeship, keeping me in line and making sure i get the training i need to develop

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer has given me lots of support, both financially for example buying me tools. He has also supported me mentally throughout my course, with reassurance when i need it. Whenever ive had a problem my employer is always straight there to help and sort it

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I received lots of support throughout my apprenticeship, with frequent check ups on either training plans and keeping in touch with my tutors at college to make sure i was on track

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I believe that i was lucky with the company i am with, because they offer a wide selection of jobs all the time, which has allowed me to get the experience on lots of different types of carpentry, making me more diverse
