Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
An average day consists starting at 9:00of sending FX rates, completing incoming payments, sorting and handing out post received that morning, lunch at 12:30, handling any phone call or email queries, putting AP invoices onto our systems and filing them, trying to learn a new task or previously learnt task more in depth
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
I truly enjoy being able to work and build professional relationships with my colleagues, learning how the company as well as my department operates is also highly interesting

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I have been told to work on my office etiquette and being less blunt when having discussions, problem solving has always been a strong point of mine however I feel it has somewhat developed over my time at Airflow. My attention to detail has also become better

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
I work 9-5 throughout the week, however, I study 1 day a week at college. My college provides good education and support however I feel it would be nice to receive more friendly advice and support in the office.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
I am able to ask my fellow accounts assistants for help or support much of the time, however, I do feel I am meant to be learning a lot on my own which is sometimes challenging, but I enjoy it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
My college teacher is very enthusiastic and friendly, I am able to ask any questions or ask for help on Thursdays when I attend college, however, he goes above and beyond by responding to questions I may message over the weeks and offers extra support or video call lessons if I feel it would be beneficial
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
I feel my qualification has helped with the very basics of understanding of my work so far, although it is not massively beneficial when doing more in depth tasks or tackling larger issues. I would like to note I started my programme only 3 months ago so my answer could change in future.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
1/5
In my first month of working at Airflow, many employees went for a day out for team building and a meal which I enjoyed a lot. I am do not believe there are any sports teams etc. apart from annual team building days.
