Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role involves interactions with client stakeholders and other team members to offer as much support to projects as possible, this could include planning meetings, completing research, creating documentation and direct collaboration with both internal and external teams
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The programme itself is highly enjoyable throughout, as in the beginning you are given the support and guidance you need when joining a business and then given the opportunity to understand and get involved with and gain practical experience with the support of others making it feel safe.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have been able to massively develop a wide variety of existing skills such as my time-keeping, self-motivation and regulation as well as a massive increase in my communication and public speaking skills which goes hand in hand with the boost in confidence this company and role has given me.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme is organised well as it is flexible, allowing work and learnings to shift depending on the current skills and opportunities available within the company meaning it is always possible to have the opportunity to be exposed to something you are interested in.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
The amount of support I receive can be as frequent as required, there are bi-weekly catch-ups with internal workplace members that were weekly at the start of my programme, however if any problems or questions come up then it is easy to access support from whoever is most suited to assist.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
The training provider is useful at offering support when I reach out for it as sometimes the weekly sessions do not cover any questions I have, it is easy to organise a 1:1 session with the lecturer to help answer any questions I have.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification helps me perform better in my role as it not only provides me with information from topics outside my apprenticeship area (IT Consultancy) which gives me more things to draw upon when faced with challenges as well as providing up-front information about things I may potentially deal with in my day-to-day tasks.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I try to get involved in every social events possible put on by the company as a chance to meet back up with people I share interests with but to also connect with any new people or people I don't work with as frequently. I have also attended some online webinars around topics I find interesting in my sector that was suggested for my by Lean Tree.
