As an IT Consultant I support several schools with their day-to-day IT issues that may arise, as well as planning & implementing long term solutions to develop the schools and prepare them for the future - as well as document creating to track progress and for future technicians who might take over
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Whilst there are always improvements I can find in my job and apprenticeship, I am still grateful for all the time and effort I've put into them. I've grown and developed both personally and professionally and these two entities are a large reason for it.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Almost all of my IT knowledge has come during my time working for Interm and studying with Solveway.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The apprenticeship had a very clear structure, making sure we were all taught to a high level but then they ensure the knowledge is remaining in our heads via different methods, from testing to general quizzes mid-conversation to keep you on your toes.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

More than I've received before. Though due to the nature of our work, working on different sites to our colleagues and managers does mean a little support get's missed - especially if you don't chase for it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The trainers I worked with always did whatever they could to support us, once they read our email with whatever issue we were having they were jumping on it to help us out.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification I received as it was more fundamental gave me a greater knowledge of the world of IT, making me aware of technologies or process that I now use daily, including the less technical skills such as communication or organisation.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have the occasional company events (summer bbq's, xmas dinner etc) but it's quite hard to do the smaller extra-curricular activities as we all work on different sites - and these can be at quite the distance too.

Yes
Why?
They're welcoming, understanding and caring, they know that when I joined I was new to this world so they were patient whilst they still taught me all the relevant skills I need. Even a year later when I'm learning something new, they're still patient & understanding.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Interm IT (UK) Ltd?
Even though this is an IT job, there are 2 skills I use as much (if not more) than anything technical, the ability to organise/prioritise & the ability to communicate with both IT proficient people and those who aren't. Work on these skills and Interm will help the rest
