Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Tracking activity and engagement of our PPD field teams. Onboarding new starters through the PPD induction. Assisting internal events.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy leading projects and having autonomy. I also enjoy connecting with others within my team and networking with people in the division. I sometimes struggle with work/life balance, however my manager and early careers network are always there to support me.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have improved my organisation and time management skills by leading multiple projects at one time. I have developed my presentation skills through presenting at team meetings.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The communication from our university provider can sometimes be unclear, therefore assignment briefs and deadlines become difficult to manage. The communication from my manager is amazing, tasks and project briefs are super clear and she is always there to listen to my problems.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
From my manager and team, they are always there to support me regarding any issue that I have. The early careers network are also very supportive and can answer any questions I have.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
The university provider are often unclear on communications regarding assignments and exams. We have flagged this as a cohort to our employer and have seen an improvement in the communication as a result.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Studying a business degree has helped me to liaise with key stakeholders within the company regarding issues such as sustainability and human resources.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
We have divisional socials once every month and have socials with our early careers network, however this depends on your division/team.
