My main role is product picker but when needed I work with Reach truck, Bulk, Chiller, Basically I work and understand every inch of warehouse
When Picking I need follow product accurate mean pick exactly what store ask, follow health and safety rules, need as well follow KPI(certain amount amount per day).

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Very much many things I did before and I didn't know why I had to do it that way basically Now I understand my rights and duty and I had a amazing apprenticeship tutor Mrs Gillian Riggs she encouraged and motivate me a lot to get to end of programme.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learned new skills as well everyday add more to my existing skills, with apprenticeship I learned how to keep me motivated and motivate my colleagues, social media aware with comments I make about company could damage Lidl reputation, use warehouse system (wamas), understand laws and legislation in the sector most important follow always health and safety rules all the time.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Well organised I did thirteen modules plus maths and English.
Lidl provide me with four hours per week of virtual learning and 250 hours of practical learning.
Every week I had to finish assignment send to to the apprenticeship team member to mark, must be 60% or more to pass assessment.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

All possible support from day one.
Lidl provide me with space, time, training from goods in (receiving department) that I learned how to do the check if quality and quantity products match with Delivery note everything.I want to say thank you to Lidl, my colleagues, Managers and every one involved.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Every support possible she is amazing person she encouraged, motivate me especially when I was tired because I was working night shift I couldn't get much sleep on morning do to take care of my daughter she said " I believe in you, You can do it, and take to the end .
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I started understand better my role that silly mistakes could cause company get financial loss, keep me motivated when staff is motivated he will perform better, high productivity.

Yes, We have got staff wellbeing programmes to support us and encourage that having good sleep after work is crucial plus use fruit and vegetable to balance our diet.

Why?
I would recommend Lidl to a friend because they have a great salary and there is apprenticeships available for higher ranking positions. However there is still a great work environment as all the employees are respectful out going people and you feel like you can fit in with everyone there
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lidl?
Follow the training ,planing work play attention to training mentor, work hard always, will be provide extra support if you struggle with pallets building.
