Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

daily ingestions for several different kinds and types of data
writing python codes for ingestions
building dashboards for brands to visit
building dashboards for retails teams
pulling data with sql queries
mainly project work so can differ day to day
presenting to other teams about your work

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i enjoy being able to work along side my degree, i feel that i am at an advantage compares to people who just went to uni.
i enjoy my day to day work, it helps being in a great team of people who want you to be able to learn and grow on the programme too.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

it is very organised. there is clear structure. I have my daily tasks, projects i work on throughout the week (a few at a time ) and then uni on a friday

How much support do you receive from your employer?

They offer so much support. they help teach you, while giving you your own responsibilities to feel like a valued worker (not just being seen as the apprentice).

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There were some issues at the start when starting our first year, but since then our issues had been voiced and they did everything they could to make it better. it has really improved and it now great

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The degree we study is business management, I think it is great as it gives a well rounded learning about the whole business not just our job role. My role is data, but i have learnt about marketing, hr ect as well as what i do in my day to day role. it helps us with our careers in the future because it will give us knowledge of all aspects of business.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many sports teams and run clubs
many networking events
And different diversity groups (lqbtq+, neurodivergence, gender ect)
