Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am there to assist my Accountant, I aid with month-end tasks and anything they need doing whilst they are busy. I also still do a few accounts assistant jobs throughout the month.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Although tough and a lot of hard work I did enjoy the programme and it felt amazing to pass and complete it.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I learnt everything I know by going through the apprenticeships level 2-4 as before I knew nothing about accounting.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is okay. I got a day out of the office to attend college once a week which is good. However there is a rule that apprentices can't sit the synoptic exam until they have been on the course for 12 months, however the actual college year isn't 12 months long, therefore delaying the last exam and in turn delaying the start of the next year and so on.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I understand and am grateful that they paid for the course and allowed a day out of the office to attend, but they had little to no involvement until I was sitting my final exam of Level 4.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Yes they were super helpful giving a full day of teaching per week as well as providing a wesbsite full of resources when not at college and always available to email.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps a lot as I can use what I've learnt to better understand what I am doing at work and when learning new tasks
