Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is to look after Maidstone, Bromley and Sevenoaks Volkswagen accounts. I post the bank statements, vw banks, invoices, make payments and more. I know i have to keep the accounts neat and tidy and i do this by going through IRIS.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy working for Group 1 and i feel like i have picked up on a lot of work. I hope to progress here in the future. However, with the college side of my apprenticeship i have struggled and didn't really get the support i needed from college.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have gotten better with using excel as i didn't know much about it before. My communication with others has gotten a lot better as when i first joined i lacked in confidence
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Work is very organised as its mainly the same routine every day, other than month end. College I dont think is structured well at all, they don't communicate with the students or help when needed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer, there are always people in the office that are always happy to help whether its college work or normal work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I dont feel like I have received a lot of support from college. I have struggled with the exams as this was all new to me so i think i needed that extra help but was never given it no matter how many times i asked. I know that i would have definitely finished level 2 by now if i had received enough help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes we do have social activities. We had one recently where we went bowling with people in the office, not just accounts, there were some people from HR and IT. It was really nice to meet other people that work in the same place as me

Why?
I would recommend Group 1 because i feel like they support their staff. Also everyone here has made me feel so comfortable and welcomed.
