Helping with enquiries and handovers while an apprentice, couldn't give a 10 as felt like it could have been handled better at a site level.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Loved the programme, met some amazing people and the trainers were all very helpful and very good at getting there message/lessons across

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learnt how to take a customer through the full sales process, and how to provide a premium service. Helped develop my communication skills and confidence with the presentation of finance and products
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Programme was very well structured, could have been shorter 12 months not 18. But I am aware this has now been changed for current apprentices
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Employer has been helpful, but I do feel this could have been handled better. As due to being the first sales apprentice, felt a little bit in limbo with what was expected of me. Only had proper support in the last couple of months, then got thrown into it
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Amazing, always happy to help with any issues I encountered. Easy to contact and easy to get a point across with them
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

This to me is the best way to ease yourself into sales, otherwise its a sink or swim option. Believe its a really good way to get your foot in the door

Good business to work for and seem to put their workforce first regarding pay and support they offer.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Group 1 Automotive?
Amazing to work for, they do ask for a lot but it is worth it due to the support they offer to their staff
