On top of my current OPTI role, for the apprenticeship I have to write reports, log what data analysis I’ve done, complete question banks, discuss current affairs and have monthly meetings.

Not particularly. It’s made me reflect on what data analysis is involved in my job but often this is tenuous.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My mentor is somewhat flexible with meetings and such and the organisation seems good but not helpful in the long term.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Minimal. Since I’m aligned to a Troop and other responsibilities, the apprenticeship work is disruptive and not many people work in the same role as me to assist on it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My mentor is helpful should I need assistance but the mark schemes and support documents are often so vague and useless that I feel i’m going in to the workload blind.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Negatively. It actually hinders my job and disallows me from doing other courses and relevant training or interacting with my Troop.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes - many. The apprenticeship takes time away from them.
