The structure of the programme is great, with your development plan mapped out for you from the very first week, making it clear what is expected and when, and how to achieve this.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive support from a number of people in any way in which I need. I am continually made aware of the support available to me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive support both at University and at home, we are also given additional resources to help and guide us with our studies. As well as having the library available to harness additional information. The library also offer to mark up to 500 words of your assignment to see if you’re on track.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

As a cost estimator, the project management degree seems like it wouldn’t directly benefit me in my role, however, it has given me a greater oversight of the business and how different functions work hand in hand with commercial.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many events and STRETCH activities being advised to you throughout your time in the apprenticeship, these are all great for your development.

I would recommend BAE as it is a great company. It offers you so many experiences, as well as learning and flexibility.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Ensure that you research the role before hand so that you are definitely applying for the right job for you. BAE offer such a wide range of roles so it is important to put the time in at the start to choose the correct role for you to both excel in and enjoy.
