To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The scheme does have a good ethos but I do find the management of it challenging. There is a lack of communication about expectations and placements without experienced PM's is difficult. Overall it has challenged me and exposed me to many opportunities for development and career satisfaction. It can just often be frustrating.

I think the most beneficial training was the PMQ. But as we progress to Level 6 content I am starting to be able to transfer learning to my placement. This was difficult to do in some placements though.

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It provides great opportunities to see multiple ways of working and they are keen on supporting your development. It is a very employee-focused business.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Research the organisation and have a look at the area if you are re-locating. Working from home is not particularly common.
