Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I worked in a team helping to build software solutions to problems. We used agile so constant interaction with team members was key. Lots of stuff to learn and I was given time and resources to do so. We also had some fun tasks to do with the other summer students such as Virtual escape rooms and AI games.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
We were given quite a lot of responsibility which was good but we still had support when we needed it. Myself and another intern had our own project to work on.

I have built my technological and social skills. In particular getting to work with AWS allowed me to learn a lot.

Company culture is good, they are quite focused on diversity in the work place. Atmosphere was generally good, particularly with the other interns.
