The collaborative environment and supportive management made the journey enjoyable and motivating. Overall, it was a rewarding experience that prepared me well for my future career.

Self-Awareness and Emotional Intelligence
Resilience
Critical Thinking and Decision Making
Communication and Teamwork

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
I believe the programme could have benefitted from better structuring. As a block-release group, we often felt forgotten about compared to the day-release students. The lack of consistent communication and support left us feeling somewhat isolated and less integrated into the overall program. Improving the structure and ensuring equal attention to all groups would enhance the experience for future apprentices.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I received plentiful support from my employer throughout the program, which was instrumental in my development. My employer provided me with numerous opportunities to learn and grow, offering regular feedback and constructive criticism that helped me improve my skills and performance. They were always available to answer my questions and provide assistance whenever I needed it, ensuring that I felt supported and valued throughout my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
I feel that minimal support was received from the training provider throughout this programme. However, working as a group, we were able to handle the pressure of the apprenticeship programme despite this.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
My apprenticeship in Business Leadership and Management Practice has provided me with a solid foundation of skills and knowledge that are highly beneficial in my current role as an HR Employee Relations Manager. It has equipped me with a comprehensive set of skills and experiences that are directly applicable to my role, and prepared me to handle the complexities of employee relations with confidence and effectiveness.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I am fortunate to be part of a very close-knit team that values camaraderie and teamwork. We regularly organise social events together outside of work, which has helped us build strong relationships and a supportive work environment. The sense of community and mutual support within our team is something I truly cherish and believe contributes significantly to our overall success.
