To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the daily tasks and how well jobs are managed in terms of given time management, the extent of my own personal responsibilities and projects that are happening around site.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt new skills with techniques relating to CNC machine tool fitting techniques, pipework, chemical plant maintenance and other mechanical equipment.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is reasonably well structured in terms of the criteria we need to tick off and to what extent we can carry out this work on site on placements. I would however suggest that from my own personal view point that some criteria may not be 100% relevant, but plays an important part in the overall understanding of the various components.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I feel as if I get a large amount of support from my employer with regards to issues in work, and in some cases externally. I have been made to feel very welcomed here and I don not feel any reluctance to asking my employer for help or advice.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I feel I receive a lot of support from my training provider, they are always willing to make time and help make any amendments or adjustments if you are struggling.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel the training I have had, it has enabled me to feel more confident by learning everyday and keep practicing the various maintenance roles within my job. Once having the fundamentals in place, it's just a case of practicing the techniques to develop as an engineer.
