Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work within the training cell of an EOD & Search unit who specialise in deployments overseas. My role involves maintaining training and validation records to ensure readiness commitments are met.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The additional study work on top of working full time and deployments and other courses has made it difficult at times but still enjoyable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

The chartered manager degree apprenticeship has provided a vast amount of knowledge which I have applied in the workplace. Too much to list but every module has been useful.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The university has made a massive effort to understand the nuances of the military and relating the subjects to the military for the purpose of the apprenticeship which was really helpful.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
It has varied over 2 different units. The first unit being very supportive, the second not so much.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The apprenticeship mentor from the university couldn't be more helpful, always offering additional help and worked really well between the students and tutors.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
