Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I lead a Team of circa 60 staff including Demand and Capacity Leads, Business Change Subject matter experts, Business Analysts. The team supports the IT organisation to delivery Projects and BAU Changes ranging in value and complexity. My role ranges from analysing data (Demand, Capacity, Project time, cost and quality along with performance) people management, continuous improvement, stakeholder management and dealing with escalations and urgent requests.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Balancing my job, Home life and studying was challenging. I did enjoy it when capacity allowed.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I had many years of hand on experience, the degree apprenticeship formalised this experience whilst also teaching me aspects of Project Management I have not been exposed to such as supply chain.

I think my performance increased however i feel the "qualification" has supported my development.
