Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
On a day to day basis, I focus on helping support our customers with their banking needs and quires. I work alongside a relationship manager to support them with their portfolio of customers. This involves calling customers to ensure they have no questions at present and responding to any quires. I also deliver Fraud and Operational service reviews to customers to keep their businesses protected against fraud and ensure our bank records are up to date.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I am throurouly enjoying my programme so far, it has given me the opportunity to learn so many new skills as well as develop my existing skills. The programme has allowed me to work in a great team as well as being able to connect with other apprentices.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
During my apprenticeship so far I have learnt many new skills, these skills include email writing, delivering fraud reviews etc. I have also developed many skills for example I have developed my customer service skills significantly in role. I have also grown my confidence in speaking to customers and going out on meetings.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme is well structured with live sessions scheduled throughout the course to support with learning. The time spent off the job learning is agreed with your line manager so appropriate cover can be put in place giving me time to focus on the learning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a great amount of support from the employer, specifically my line manager. I have a weekly catch up with my line manager to give me time to raise any concerns that I have and to ensure I have enough time to complete the study each week and ensure I am meeting deadlines so we can adapt if needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive a high level of support from my training provider, I have meetings with my designated coach who ensure I am on track to complete my qualifications and provides support if any is required. She answers any questions I have to ensure I am supported best I can be. Outside of these calls she is quick to respond if I have any questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I feel y qualification helps me develop in my job role as it provides me with in-depth knowledge around how banks operate, how to best support customers and many other key customer service skills. This supports me in my job role as I have further knowledge into banking solutions for customers depending on their needs.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are many extra curricular activities to get involved in. These range form team days, where our team spend the day doing an activity to build a strong team relationship. There are also many sport events that I can attend, for example attending Sports events with partners to build a network, or attending sports activities with other teams to build networks, and also events with other companies whether that be solicitors etc.
