My day to day role varies which is great as I get to experience a lot of different things. At present, I am in a governance role which means I am often in review meetings and internal team meetings helping to discuss and provide solutions.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am really enjoying my programme thus far. Everything is extremely well structured and the support from my organisation is exceptional.

It does massively help to gain an understanding of the concepts through my qualification and then begin to see these in the real world when at work.

There a lots of extra-curricular activities which my employer has made clear and encourages us to get involved where possible.

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
My journey so far has been great. I have learnt a lot and will continue to do so. The apprentice team along with my other colleagues inundate me with support.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
There is a lot involved so you have to be very disciplined and driven to ensure you succeed. BAE do a wonderful job at explaining this so it was not a shock. However, I would advise others to consider looking at all apprentice options for BAE to see which would be suited to them.
