To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I tend to enjoy the in work elements of my programme quite a lot. I have so far had four placements and all but one of these I have actively enjoyed, and the other was still tolerable but just did not match my specific parameters for enjoyment. This however was still useful as it served to help highlight what I would specifically like to do further.
I have had issues along with many others however, in the implementation of the university learning elements of the programme.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I've developed both Project Management specific knowledge and foundational elements, as well as a wider array of IT and other technical skills
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Again, the in work elements of the programme I've found to be well organised and supported. The University element however has suffered from poor management and inconsistent and seemingly arbitrary decision making.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I feel I receive a high level of support from my employer, both from the systems and policies put in place as well as on an individual level from managers and team leaders
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I think typically on a by tutor basis, there is a willingness to give support, but the structure of the university experience as well as the delivery method make this challenging.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think it has given foundational elements of the project management profession
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are several different extra activities available should you so wish to partake, this however is not something I specifically have looked into much

I feel it is an excellent work environment from my experience and provides a good set of knowledge in the working environment
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Try to learn about the business as a whole and don't be discouraged if you're unsuccessful in applying, as many, including myself, don't make it in on their first application.
