The programme is most definitely enjoyable and it also offers out loads of opportunities for your career.

I have developed improved hand skills and have become more skilled with the tooling provided to assist you in completing jobs. My understanding of the job has increased dramatically over the course of the apprenticeship.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The apprenticeship has a duration of just slightly over 2 years. The first year includes studying the theory of your job, including several exams that test your knowledge, whereas the second year is on the job training where you can build up hands on experience.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The employer offers out loads of services that are there to support you through your apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

In the first year you are taught by trained instructors to deliver all the relevant course information. Whereas in the second year you have supervisors to help you with the hands on work.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

All information fed to you throughout the course will help you improve in your role. It is important to take all advice given into account to progress at a quicker rate.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

During the first year you must attend an outwards bound trip where you complete a series of teambuilding activities. It allows you to get to know your colleagues better and build friendships.
