I am a nursery assistant in the baby room at my nursery, I really enjoy working here and its a very rewarding job. Not only do we just play with the children we also care for all of there health needs and keep them happy and entertained all day.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed this programme and I had a lot of enjoyment completing it. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for and whats a career in childcare.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills coming into this job for example I have developed more patience, I have learnt a new understanding between the younger and older children.

My programme was very structured and everything was done on time, everything was ready for me to complete and to do.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received alot of help from my employer, and they were really good at giving me time out if i needed to complete my work, they would also support me to get my work done and remind me when it needed completing.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider was very helpful and would always message to check in to see how i was doing, and she would also help with my work and set me up with links to help me if needed and take time out of her day to support me.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel my qualification helped me learn more and it helps me devlop more in the role.

I would recommend because its friendly with a good environment, the staff are lovely and the job itself is rewarding and we help children settle and support their needs.
