Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My day consists of having a daily stand-up in the morning, where we talk about the work we are going to do. Then through the day you work on the task you have been assigned or you pick up tickets to work on. Sometimes I need to complete my apprenticeship work

The program is quite enjoyable as I like to learn about this field and want to get better at it, therefore I am enjoying my time working and doing my apprenticeship

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes, I have learned Java and how backend development works with using a framework called spring boot. I have also developed my front end skills as I have had the chance to work on the front end as well.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My apprenticeship has a good structure to it, as it starts of by teaching you take basics to make sure everyone is on the same level, which with time they introduce more difficult concepts which become more useful for the workspace.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive quite a bit of support from my employers which frequent catch up calls with my manager to see how I am doing and if there is anything help or support that I may want. I have also great colleagues which I can ask for help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I am able to receive support from my training provider as they are quite open and they keep reassuring that they are there to help. I have ask many questions to my training providers if I need help or clarification on certain tasks
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I believe that the more I stick with the qualification the more useful it will become later on, as further into my apprenticeship I get too, the harder the concepts get and the more useful they become to my work
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes my work offers my activities such as social events and networking events for apprentices and graduates so they can meet up and talk, there are also frequent charity events that are run by the work place which you can volunteer to participate in
