Aircraft ground operative - Loading and unloading of aircraft. Building and management of cargo and special freight. Working with external organisations and personnel. Communicating with co workers and management. Operating specialised vehicles and equipment.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The apprenticeship and training has been enjoyable and informative. The work required to achieve is measured and achievable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to use new it software. Trained on how to use specialist equipment and vehicles. Development of teamwork and interpersonal skills thorough crucial communication.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

As it is a military organisation there is a clear rank structure and distinction between different operating sectors.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There has been lots of support from the air force, with many people to go to when needing support and help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There is a dedicated apprenticeship cell for the role with regular meetings and reviews with dedicated personnel to support you.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification is directly related to the role, this means that the milestones you have to meet are easily met as it is your actual job. Assignments relating to the apprenticeship are easy to understand as again, they are directly related to the role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
