My role involves servicing and maintaining communications equipment. Also, sometimes I will be accounting for cryptographic materials.

Teamwork, communication, time management, problem-solving, and hands on technical skills relating to the various pieces of communications equipment.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The layout of the programme is clearly communicated to the apprentices, with the certain points where major events occur such as the EPA.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My chain of command is very supportive with my learning.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The apprenticeship centre personnel on base are communicative with the objectives that need to be met, and providing templates and advice for the storyboards.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The inclusion of PWA-A content which is health and safety in the workplace enables me to remain safe during my day to day work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are a variety of social activities and sports teams that are available for all on station.
