The role involved being hands on and being a face for your community. As a PCSO, we are somewhat like the glue of bringing people closer to the police and regaining trust in what we do
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed the apprenticeship thoroughly, from the initial 13 weeks of training and the workplace phase.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed many more new skills, such as communication, as it is one of the biggest ones when it comes to dealing with people on a daily basis

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very well structured and organized , I do not have any further to say regarding this
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my initial employers and know that they are always on hand if it is needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot of support is given by the trainers when working towards qualifications, such as, the time to prepare a Mock EPA which was incredibly helpful
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It is definitely helping me to get the best out of the role, and understand it fully
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I am currently getting involved in the police football team as well as LGBT+ association
