At the minute we are still in classroom training learning the modules that we will need to apply in our tutoring phase at our stations.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Well organised however uniform and things such as keys have still not been sorted properly so i cant get into my station

There is a lot of support from tutors and sergeants

They are good at helping however we have not started our portfolios yet so not sure how much support we will get during that as we wont see them in person.

Im not sure that the qualification is necessary for the role but Its good to have anyway

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Northumbria Police?
It is a very long process to get in so you need to have another job while you wait to start in the police. It took 8 months from the day i got the job to actually start
