I find my work challenging and enjoyable. I find it harder to have time and motivation for exams and apprenticeship work and there is a lot of extra work to do above my job which is already time consuming

Yes, lots of skills around communication, leadership and dealing with people whether it be company directors, members of their finance team or members or my team. Also technical skills around audit and financial statements

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Old Mill to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I think they are an employer that listen, are flexible, have supported me and helped me within my journey and have not held me back in my journey in the work place since leaving school. I have been here almost 8 years due to these reasons
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Old Mill?
Old Mill is hugely focused on people and the type of person you are. Being lovely to work with is one of our values and this would be the key point to show during your application. Technical knowledge etc is of course important but the type of person you are and how you are to work with is also extremely important here
