Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Opening Branch, working with customers, dealing with customer credits and accounts, completing paperwork, making sure we are all health, safe and legal.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy working on this programme because each assignment that I am completing feels like I am working towards my own progression within my career and I am gaining valuable skills.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learnt a lot of new skills that can be applied to both work and outside of work and definitely developed on what I had already known before entering on to the apprenticeship.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Everything seems very well organised and structured within the programme, I have never been confused in regards to deadlines and the structure of the programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Support is fantastic, I am constantly being checked on and I feel like if I had any issues in relation to the apprenticeship I would have an answer within the same day.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Amazing support from the training provider, no issues with anything.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel like this qualification helps me to perform better in my role because I am seeing myself progress and develop and what I currently know, it's helping with my performance and I am feeling a lot more confident within myself.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I am currently involved in the diversity at work team and delving into inclusion within work. I have been trying to encourage a works sports team, I have pushed for badminton and I am currently pushing a darts team.

Why?
I have never had any issues, but if there ever was a time then I know that I would have support from my peers. I always feel included and know that I am encouraged with my progression.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Booker Wholesale UK?
Make sure that you are willing and able to swap between roles dependant on what is needed to be completed. Also to be prepared to be able work on your own and to use your own skills and knowledge to be able to fix issues that do arise.
