Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Being part of the Relationship team for the customer on our portfolio. Managing a portfolio of up to 100 clients and meeting their financial needs on an ongoing basis whilst building strong and healthy long term relationships with all our clients. Personally being first point of contact in the Bank.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
it took a while for me to see the correlation between what i do in the job and the course but eventually got there. It is a good option to gain a qualification if you do not wish to pursue University

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Learnt new systems. been in the bank for a while, in retail, transitioned to Commercial so was familar with quite a few things but definitely learnt new skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Well structured so you are able to manage your workload. for my particular course 6 hrs a week not enough. Great coach and webinars run well without inconveniencing the day to day job
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
NatWest as a group show really good support towards the scheme. they take it very seriously and have embraced the concept really well.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
BPP have been good, had an excellent coach that really has been influential towards success that i have achieved within the programme
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
i have been in the bank for a while and although the qualification is useful i have not found that it has improved me in my job or played a part in the success that i have achieved in my role
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Yes, attended a few networking events and also socially, we held a charity event in which we raised funds for a children's charity by climbing mount Snowden
