Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Engage with the community to build relationships between the police and the public. Respond to lower level incidents such as Anti - Social Behaviour. Support my colleagues with their duties for example helping officers with arrests.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I found the programme to be very informative but also a lot of fun.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot about policing and what my role will be I have finished the classroom part of my apprenticeship with the knowledge and skills to do my job.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I thought the structure was very good and didn't overload me with information but still gave me all the knowledge I need.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received a lot of support from my trainers. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] in particular my main trainer provided us with great support throughout.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have support from various people who are on hand to support us when needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think the qualification gives us a great knowledge base for my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yeah we have a Sports and social club and a lot of other clubs to get involved in.
