Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is a Police Community Support Officer and is to engage with the local community, support the vulnerable and members of the public in helping the local community be a safer place.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed the different topics we have learnt in the last 13 weeks and I have enjoyed the different types of learnt for example the 2 days we spent at hydra.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have found this course has helped me develop better communication skills across all levels from members of the public to senior rank police officers. I also believe this course has helped me develop better confidence in myself and develop better ict skills.

I found this course to very structured and really goo engagement from the trainers and different memebers of the police force.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have found the support from the employer to very good and i am more than happy to contact them if i need anything.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support from Simon Beavers has been excellent I have found he has really helped me develop as a person and bring out the best of my abilities and has given constructive feedback where seen fit to help with my learning in this course.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have found the course to be very informative in all the subjects we have been learning about. This will help me in my role as PCSO.
